Nueva Andalucía sits directly inland from Puerto Banús, rising from the marina towards the foothills of the Sierra Blanca, with La Concha mountain as its backdrop. It lies between San Pedro de Alcántara to the west and Marbella's Golden Mile to the east, and was developed from the late 1960s alongside Puerto Banús itself.
Known as the Golf Valley, the area is built around four well-known courses: Los Naranjos, Las Brisas, Aloha and La Quinta. Between them are residential neighbourhoods ranging from the original village of La Campana and the busy streets around Centro Plaza to quiet, villa-lined lanes higher up the valley.
The location is a big part of the appeal. Puerto Banús and the beach are around five minutes away by car, Marbella's old town is roughly 15 minutes, and Málaga airport can be reached in under an hour via the AP-7 or A-7, making it practical for full-time residents and frequent visitors alike.
